The PlayLine Monitor Gaming System consists of five primary components: these can be stand alone components or integrated as one complete system.
WebShow
This application software schedules, hosts and displays all game animations and events. The PlayLine system uses WebShow to display game / draw information on TV monitors available at the betting venues. WebShow may be configured for the various types of media formats required to display information. See WebShow for additional information.
Sentinel
Sentinel is the main gaming engine and controls and monitors all transactions. Also known as the “Controller” Sentinel will also support terminals for wager selection and validation as well as be responsible for draw-oriented procedures. The Sentinel game engine, including the Random Number Generator has been GLI Certified. See Sentinel for additional information.
Sentinel also hosts a Management Console which is the user interface to the entire gaming system. This interface provides the functionality to start or stop the various components of the system.
Database information and several management reports are also available for accounting and business intelligence purposes.
Beetle POS Terminal
All wager based transactions take place at the POS terminals. Players go to this teller operated terminal to place wagers, validate tickets and if applicable to collect their winnings. The Beetle Terminal handles all POS operations, provides and validates tickets through communicating with the Sentinel Controller. See PlayLine Beetle for additional information.
Monitor Display Device
PlayLine can either utilize your locations current display system or install a state of the art LCD or plasma display system.
Animation Game Content
Our gaming system allows us to offer simulated car races, virtual horse races, animated action games and new exciting versions of traditional games such as Keno and Bingo, see the PlayLine Game Library brochure for additional information.
Flexible System Configuration
PlayLine’s system is uniquely scaleable. Any location may operate one (game engine) to many (POS terminals and monitors).
The system is also very flexible and modular, enabling the integration of legacy systems, POS terminals, etc.
The PlayLine system supports independent stand-alone or fully networked systems . There are many possible configurations of the Playline System. This graphic is for example only.
PlayLine’s non-proprietary system architecture features game flexibility; enables customers to choose from the PlayLine game content or from other third-party game designers.
